In 2015-2016, the GRB Convention Center will be under MAJOR construction. Follow us on Facebook (Mizuno Cross Court Classic) or on Twitter (CrossCourtHPL) for up-to-date information. We will be posting a variety of information about construction and the event in the weeks leading up to the event.

General Information: Coaches pick up passes 6-8pm Friday night or Saturday prior to playing 7am-9am or 2pm-4pm at Main Championship desk between Hall A/B
No chairs allowed in the GRB (there will be chairs around each court). Coolers and tables can be set up outside the front of the GRB, however, be aware it is in downtown Houston with pedestrians and vagrants who might partake in your goodies. This year, the areas will be limited due to the construction. No free Wifi in the GRB. There will be several food/drink vendors set up throughout the GRB for water and snacks.
Saturday Am Wave (starting at 8am) – 12s, 13 Elite, 13 Open, 14 Open, 15 Open, 15 Elite, 15 Club, 16 Open, 16 Elite, 16 Club
Saturday PM Wave (starting at 3pm) – 11s, 13 Club, 14 Elite, 14 Club, 17 Open, 17 Club & 18s
All divisions will play at the Convention Center on Saturday except the 12s which could play at one of the following venues: GRB, The Zone or FAST. On Sunday, the 12s will play at the GRB. On Sunday, the following divisions have the potential to play at GRB or at outlying sites: 16 Club, 15 Elite, 15 Club, 14 Club.
Schedules & results can be viewed here: Advanced Event Systems. There will be a bank of computers near each tournament desk with AES available. If you see an error in results, please tell the tournament staff so that the scoresheet can be reviewed and the system can be corrected.

Weekend passes will be available for purchase online starting Monday, February 16th. Adults $10 per person and Seniors (65+) and Children 6-17 $6. All offsite locations will be selling the same weekend passes and are good at all locations. The ticket windows will be Cash only, no checks or credit cards. There is an ATM on the second floor at the GRB. Online purchases will need to pick up their wristbands on the 2nd floor of the Convention Center – above Hall B or Hall D. You must bring your printout to be scanned. Offsite locations will also be selling tickets at the door.

Spectator Warning: As spectators, you may choose to be in close proximity to the volleyball courts. You do so at your own risk. Be mindful that volleyballs may come from multiple directions.
The main site will be the George R Brown Convention Center. All teams will play AT LEAST ONE DAY in the convention center. Additional sites will be used as needed: The Zone, FAST Complex, Willowbrook Sports Complex, Texas Tornados Training Facility, Spike Sport and Skyline. Parking is also available in various paid parking lots near the GRB as well as under Discovery Green Park directly across from the Convention Center. NO PARKING IN THE BACK OF THE CONVENTION CENTER – there is NO ENTRY from that side of the building. You will have to walk around the convention center if you park behind the loading docks. There is no entrance in the back. Parking Meters downtown are NOT free on Saturdays. Prices range but most lots are between $10-$12 per day.
Downtown parking lot attendants will be wearing a yellow vest with a badge.

The downtown Polk exit is the way almost all mapping technology guides drivers…. this is not the only way to get to the GRB. Although we will have officers working in that area to help the flow of traffic and pedestrians, look up other ways to navigate in order to relieve the congestion in that area.
Please have college ID ready to show at entrance. AES will be providing college coaches information for $TBD/first coach and $TBD/each additional coach. Registration will be through the website starting one week prior to the event.

DIVISIONS (please pay attention to which division you register for because it may be difficult to change after registration closes):
- Open – this is the best division and should only be entered by the most competitive teams. Only top teams in the club. Teams in this division should be consistently a #1 team in pool play.
- Elite – this is a very competitive division and should be entered by top teams or second teams in the club. Teams in this division should be a consistent #1 or #2 team in pool play.
- Club – if you don’t qualify as an open or elite team this is your division.
